We Built Invizion Because Capital Planning Deserved Better.
For over a decade, Invizion has helped infrastructure organizations close the gap between the scale of capital decisions and the outdated tools used to manage them. Working alongside water utilities, federal agencies, and other asset-intensive teams, we’ve seen how fragile spreadsheets, manual reporting, and lost institutional knowledge hold skilled capital planning teams back — and we built Invizion to change that.
Our Story
Invizion was built because it had to be. Our work with a US federal agency brought us face to face with one of the most daunting capital program challenges in the country — and when we looked for software that could handle it, we came up empty. The tools that existed weren’t built for this kind of work. ERPs, project management platforms, spreadsheets — none of them could support the scenario analysis, defensible prioritization, and rigorous reporting that a program of that scale and complexity demanded. So we built what didn’t exist.
What we didn’t fully appreciate at the time was that the federal agency's challenge wasn’t unique to it's department. It was the same challenge facing capital planning teams at water utilities, municipal agencies, and asset-intensive organizations across the country — organizations managing hundreds of millions to billions in capital spending, with inadequate tools and no better options. The problem was everywhere. The solution wasn’t.
That’s still true today. And it’s still what Invizion is built to solve.
Our Mission
To help asset-intensive organizations make smarter capital investment decisions — by giving capital program teams the tools to build defensible plans, explore informed scenarios, and communicate with confidence to every stakeholder who needs to understand the plan.
The Invizion Advantage
Invizion was built specifically for capital planning — not adapted from something else. That specificity is what makes it work: the data model, the workflows, the outputs are all designed around how capital program teams actually think and operate. More capable than spreadsheets, faster to deploy than enterprise platforms, and priced for the organizations that need it most — utilities, federal agencies, and asset-intensive organizations managing $50M to $2B in annual capital spending.
